Designing for an Equitable New York’ draws attention to inequities regarding land use and infrastructure throughout New York City and includes eight recommendations for creating improved public spaces. This policy recommendation book was written, designed and developed by the graduate students in Design & Urban Ecologies, Theories of Urban Practice, and Design Studies Programs at Parsons The New School for Design, Fall 2013, New York City.
On this project I worked on the design team to create a template for the overall document. We, then, collected all the written and visual content of the eight student groups and built the final book using the template. I was charged of verifying the consistency images to produce a file compatible with the printer requirements.
